Spring 1909 Results!

So the poll question was whether the Italian was the worst in history, and it seems he was narrowly successful in avoiding that cherished position. Thanks for your help. Final results were, 3 saying he was the worst and 4 claiming he wasn't. Phewf, that was close. In a bout of controversy an unnamed source claims ballot tampering, in that the 4 votes garnered by Psam supporters were from Frank, Sam, Psam, and Smuul. Authorities are also looking into allegations that there were up to 5000 disqualified votes from one particular I.P. address. Investigations continue.

Okay here we go.

Turkey

She moved her armies into position. Serbia went into Trieste with support from Albania and Budapest. Sevastopol supported Budapest, Constantinople to Bulgaria, Rumania supported Budapest. Apulia supported Naples, and her fleet supported the Ionian into the Tyrrhenian Sea. Fleet in the Aegean to the Ionian.

France

She started out quickly by invading the Irish Sea from the Mid Atlantic. The Western Med was bounced back by the English in its attempt on the Mid Atlantic. Brest attempted the English Channel but because the English were bounced out by a similar invading force in attempting the Mid Atlantic, this is also unsuccessful. Picardy supported Belgium, Burgundy supported Picardy, Piedmont supported Venice who supported Rome, which in turn supported Venice. Whole lotta supports there.

Germany

Prussia seized Livonia, Galicia pillaged the Ukraine. Ruhr flew to Kiel with support from Berlin. Fleet in Skagerrak stormed into Sweden but was pushed back by the angry Swedes. Fleet in Holland went into Helgoland Bight while Belgium went to Holland.

England

As Elvis said, there was a whole lotta shakin goin on with the Queen's fleets. English Channel bounced back from attacking the Mid Atlantic. Warsaw and Moscow continued their love in while supporting each other. Sweden was attempting to support the North Sea to Norway but it was cut by bratwurst carrying Germans who stormed the bakery and then retreated when they noticed locks on the doors. The Fleet in the North Sea went to Norway unmolested while London attached itself into the North Sea with unneeded support from Denmark. Army in Edinburgh went to Yorkshire. Fleet in Liverpool sailed into the North Atlantic.

Thank you all for being on time, more or less....

I feel it is my duty to interject a statement into this game, not just because I was cordially invited to, but to object to the manipulation of the Turkish empire by their fiendish adversaries.
Judging by the results of the current poll, there is a gross misunderstanding of the nature of the leader of Turkey by all those observers who are allowing themselves to be swayed.
The fact is, if more nations would be more hospitable and friendly to Turkey, there would in fact be peace, as I had previously suggested. If Turkey is allowed to continue to flounder under the weight of widespread antagonism by all other nations, then eventually Turkey will fall. If this happens, then the cause of peace will be lost forever. There will never be an end to the war in Europe.

Fifteen have voted. Nine voted Turkey. The stats show 75% voted for Turkey. Nine out of fifteen is actually only 60%. What's wrong with this poll?
