Fall 1903 Results

If there are late move entries, you will get later results. Sorry, but this is the way it goes. If I get the moves by midnight, it is only 5pm here. Therefore, I can get right on it. I didn't get the moves until 4 pm on Sunday, and had an early morning so therefore that is why the results are late. Keep in mind, it is Monday night here, (Sunday there) as I post. We will need unit placements as soon as possible please.

Austria
Army in Budapest attacked Rumania with support from Galicia and Serbia, and gained this supply centre.
Greece held fast, and a failed move by the Fleet in the Aegean Sea to Constantinople took place.

Austria gains 1 unit.

England
Fleet in London to the English Channel
Fleet in Hel Bight sailed to the North Sea
Army in St Pete's successfully attacked Norway with support from Sweden

France
Army in Picardy supports Army in Burgundy
Army in Burg supports Army in Marseilles
Army in Mars supports Army in Spain
Army in Spain supports Army in Marseilles
Fleet in Brest to Gascony
Fleet in MAO supports Army in Spain

France loses one unit.

Germany
Belgium and Ruhr supported each other
Denmark and Kiel supported each other
Munich attacked Tyrolia with success.

Germany gains 1 unit.

Italy
Army in Bohemia went to Silesia
Piedmont in a surprise move attacked Marseilles, with support from the Gulf of Lyon. Again it was rebuffed.
Fleet in the Western Med attacked Spain and again was pushed back.

Russia
Fleet in Finland stormed into St Pete's with support from Moscow. This support was cut by Turkey but to no avail. The determined Russian Fleet entered in the South Coast, with such vigour that England had already vacated towards Norway.
Her Fleet in Norway intended support to St Pete's but that was also cut when England's army stormed Norway with support.

Russian fleet must send in her retreat order. Gained St. Petersburg but lost Sevastopol. Russia does not lose any units.

Turkey
Tension in Rumania was so strong that their army moved south to Bulgaria.
Sevastopol attacked Moscow, but was rebuffed. Army in Cons went to Smyrna.
Fleet in Bulgaria EC went to Constantinople with support from the Black Sea, which did not allow Austria's fleet in the Aegean to gain that supply center.

Gained Sevastopol but lost Rumania.

After a cold winter, spring 1904 is ahead. Seven nations vie for supremacy. Although Russia is battered, it is not beaten. Perhaps all is not as it seems. A mysterious agent, aptly named Mister X has a split personality. Is it true there is two of you? The wily Turkey looks like her luck is running out, while Austria feasts on the spoils of war. Germany deke's through, while Italian Stallion's Medallion is turned. France holds his breath while diplomacizing furiously. England stomps into the cold tundra and runs back to the coast. What will be? What will be? In time we all will see. In this big game of di-plo-ma-seeeeeee.

It states very clearly in the rulebook that if a nation is late submitting their moves, then all their units hold for a season. Why is it that someone was a day late submitting their moves and yet I don't see any nations having holds on all their units? There are protests brewing in the streets of Europe against the archduke's pathetic lack of conviction.
Ferdinand, are you going to straighten up, show us some spine, and do what's right?

d'avec leur tete

or as my dearest Queen Beth would say "Off with their head"

who's head? Well any head will do, I want blood. As long as it not from my royal person. Ferdi sounds like a prime prospect.

every leader has their faults
every leader has their price
every leader is their own worst enemy

Interesting turn of events wouldn't you say. Italy are you feeling a little green, it seems you didn't pay your little black dog enough and he has now turned to bite your hand. Perhaps you should have sided with the pink fairy while you had the chance.

I'm sure Austria is seeing red. Her advisors never said anything about having to worry about the black dog. enie meanie minie moh where should Tyrolia GO!

Word of caution Russia, watch Warsaw and guard it well

With love
