Italy will be the nation to watch this time. They have a pressing attack and lots of time. Nobody is in strife with them and they have built a solid base. As far as diplomacy goes Italy is ranked by Diplomacy Central as number one. Runner up for diplomatic efforts is Turkey. Last place goes to the ever tenacious Germany who has made no secret of his desires to crush all who oppose. The best post by a county is the House of Bourbon a.k.a France and their witty but scathing comments, doused with a dash of humour.
The odds makers this season tip Italy for most territories won and Austria for best positioning. Best prospects belong to Mother Russia and the most powerful navy belongs to England.

Italy is under negotiations with France to attempt to rekindle a previously content national relationship. You've awarded Italy for most territories gained, when in fact France, Germany, and Austria-Hungary have that title. Now France, already concerned about the Italian war efforts, is even more nervous and difficult to negotiate with, thanks to your public display of boorishness.
To quote an old Italian saying: stoochie mala feecko bala bala besty epso miakatoochay. And that's with emphasis on the epso, just so you know.
Please don't draw so much attention to our humble nation. Why not point out the way the Turks are pounding on poor Russia instead? Huh?
We thought the debauchery of the french court was something to be lived up to. Here our blog master wants to turn this into a 20 franc peep show by revealing ourselves. I think not. No one looks upon the nakedness of our royal person. Though I wouldn't mind seeing Queen Liz in the buff.
